Former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ star will welcome baby girl next year.

Former “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star Ian Ziering is going from teen heartthrob to dear ol’ dad. The actor and his wife, Erin, recently revealed they are going to welcome a baby girl next year.

“Erin and I are very excited to be parents. It’s something we both have always wanted,” Ziering, told People. “[Erin] is four-and-a-half months along, and we both are beyond excited.”

Ziering and his wife got hitched in May after dating since last summer.

Last month when the calendar hit September 2, 2010 also known as “90210 Day,” fans of the ’90s teen soap — which has since been reincarnated as a high-school drama on The CW for a new generation of youngsters — celebrated the date by looking back on the show’s legacy. Ziering wanted to take it a step further, telling People that he wanted to bring the original gang back together for a televised reunion.

“About six or seven months ago, I had my entire cast together,” he said in September. “I wanted to put together a reunion special to run on this day and the CW dropped the ball.” Ziering added, “There are so many fans out there [and] I thought it would be nice.”

However, the day wasn’t a total bust. Instead of reminiscing about the hit show and catching up with former co-stars such as Jennie Garth and fellow newlywed Brian Austin Green, Ziering said he spent the unique date honeymooning with his new bride.

“I’m enjoying an extended honeymoon with my wife, Erin, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico,” he said. “Being married, I don’t know how to describe it. It’s very comfortable when you find the right person. It all comes together beautifully.”

‘It was amazing. I got to wear a garbage bag on national TV,’ singer says.

Even if they didn’t walk away with Moonmen, just about everybody who attended the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards exited the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles a winner. Taylor Swift started some buzz with new music, and Paramore’s Hayley Williams finally got to do a live tag-team with B.o.B. Another winner in spirit? Ke$ha, whose first visit to the VMAs was a positive one.

“It was amazing. I got to wear a garbage bag on national TV,” Ke$ha gushed on the red carpet at the premiere of the second season for the HBO show “Eastbound and Down.” “It was fun. It was good. And I got nominated for four, and it was a dream come true just to be there.”

The 23-year-old singer, who did indeed wear a dress made from garbage bags, was impressed with the level of fashion experimentation at this year’s show. “It was fun. I think everybody was having fun with it,” she said. However, she is not entirely sure she would be able to take the steps that Lady Gaga did with her head-turning meat-based ensemble. “I don’t know if I could actually put raw meat on me,” she admitted.

With the VMAs behind her, Ke$ha is working on a new album, but was mostly excited to get out and support her favorite show on television. “I don’t watch TV, but this show I connect with on a really deep level,” she said. “I kind of feel like I’m the female version of Danny McBride: Kind of white trash, just ready to party.”

Fans seemed pumped to hear “Love the Way You Lie (Part II),” the follow-up to the smash Rihanna/Eminem collaboration. The track, which is Rihanna’s answer to the original version, will appear on her forthcoming November release, Loud, but Rihanna admits she had some hesitation about trying to re-create the magic of that first song.

“When I first heard the idea about doing a part two, I was just completely against it,” she revealed to MTV News. “I just felt like you couldn’t beat the original. There’s no way you can outdo that, so why compete with it?”

However, after trying out several versions of a sequel track to the 2010 song off Em’s Recovery LP, she knew the magic from the first cut was still in the air.

“We heard a broken-down version that was stripped down, just piano … that’s going to be a bonus on iTunes,” she said. “I fell in love with it. We recorded it, then we did another version to the stripped-down version with drums, then we did another version with drums and Eminem. And then that was the one that just felt really good.

“I love both: I love the broken-down version, as well as the new one with Eminem,” she continued.

Without giving away too much, Em certainly doesn’t hold back on his verse, rhyming about trading punches with the song’s female protagonist and being obsessively in love with her. Rihanna admits it’s a “crazy verse.”

“Something is wrong with Eminem,” she said, laughing. “He has so much in his mind that I almost feel lucky for him that he has music. … Music is such a great release for him. He’s one of my favorite artists.”

Not only did the original track have everyone buzzing, but its video, which features Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan, also had everyone talking.

So, will there be a sequel to that as well? “Who knows?” she teased.

‘It’s definitely going to come, but it takes time,’ says producer, who worked with King of Pop on Invincible.

Michael Jackson had a wealth of unreleased songs in the vaults at the time of his death last year, but very little has since seen the light of day. Producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who worked with the King of Pop on his 2001 album Invincible, revealed that he is about to work on a project with unreleased material from Jackson.

“I’m about to work on an unreleased project that we’re talking about doing right now,” Darkchild revealed in a chat with VladTV. “It’s definitely going to come, but it takes time. You got to do a lot of the red tape but there’s definitely going to be an unreleased Michael Jackson [album]. There’s definitely going to be stuff to come and hopefully I’ll be a part of that.”

Darkchild later spoke about how working with the entertainer had always been a childhood dream of his.

“It was a blessing. It was definitely a goal of mine as a kid. When I first wanted to be producer, at 11 years old, on a little piece of paper [I] was like, ‘One day I wanna work with Michael Jackson.’ I just believe that God granted my wish,” he said. “I had the chance to work with him. We became friends. Of course, we miss him dearly. He was truly the greatest.”

Last year, former Sony Music boss Tommy Mottola revealed to Time magazine that unpublished Jackson music could date back decades. “Let’s say 12 or 13 songs end up on the album; Michael could have possibly recorded 15, 20 or 30 songs,” Mottola explained. “This would probably go for every album he recorded and probably predating [Sony] to his Motown days.”

Jackson was reportedly working on a comeback album at the time of his death with contemporary R&B producers like Akon, Ne-Yo and Will.I.Am. He was also in talks to hit the studio with everybody from Kanye West to T-Pain to Chris Brown.

Based on a recent report from Reuters, more music from Jackson would only further increase music sales for the singer. The entertainer’s music has raked in $430 million in sales since June 2009.

An album wasn’t the only unfinished project Jackson had on his plate at the time of his death last June. The King of Pop had asked then-newcomer Lady Gaga to open his This Is It shows in London. “I guess I can speak about it now. I was actually asked to open for Michael on his tour. We were going to open for him at the O2,” she revealed earlier this year.
